Mikey Roberts has spent his life answering the call to serve.

After graduating from high school, Mikey joined the United States Marine Corps, where he embraced the values of honor, courage, and commitment and took an oath to support and defend the Constitution. Those principles have guided him throughout his life and continue to shape his approach to leadership and public service.

Following his military service, Mikey built a successful career in loss prevention and operations management, where he developed a deep appreciation for accountability, integrity, and the importance of earning the public's trust. At the age of 35, he returned to school and earned an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, demonstrating his belief that learning and personal growth never stop.

In 2016, Mikey and his wife, Heather, founded their first business together (1852 Media, a marketing firm), beginning a journey of entrepreneurship and community investment that has grown over the years. They also own 1852 Literary, a literary agency. In 2021, Mikey founded After Action, a Vermont-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and trauma survivors through peer support, business coaching, outreach, and community programs.

Mikey and Heather have been together for more than twenty years and are proud to call Charlotte home. Together, they have two adult children—one currently serving on active duty in the United States Army and the other attending the University of Vermont. They share their property with ten goats.

Today, Mikey continues to serve his community through his work with veterans, local organizations, and fellow residents throughout Chittenden County.

As a candidate for High Bailiff, Mikey believes public office is not about power—it is about responsibility. He is committed to serving with integrity, ensuring accountability, and maintaining the public trust that is essential to our system of government.
